There are decades between my mother’s generation and my own…but what we may find is that the challenges and beauty of motherhood transcends any amount of time.

Ginny is evidence that judgement of your actions do not personify your reality, and how in the end…your belief in yourself, your family, and your faith are the things in life that truly matter.

Nik shares with us her story about being raised in a military family, growing up in Europe…and then becoming a teen mom and a single mother. Nik talks about how she was able to provide for her children, how she met her soul-mate, and how to combat the complications one faces when trying to balance a blended family. Nik is a “Girls’ Girl,” who loves to encourage and empower other women. She personifies what it means to embrace life as it comes, hold on through the tough times, and to never give up on achieving your happiness.

On this episode, I interviewed ordinarily extraordinary mom Lindsay Payne. Lindsay shares with us her story about recovering from a brain tumor diagnosis and surgery, an ectopic pregnancy, a series of chemical pregnancies, and a miscarriage. Lindsay talks about the emotional difficulties she experienced while going through her journey and how her faith, constant positivity, and resilient strength got her through it all.

On this episode, I interviewed ordinarily extraordinary mom McKenzie Thompson. Mckenzie shares with us her journey to make a family through a variety of infertility treatments and IVF. As we both went through the IVF cycle together with our husbands, we will discuss each of our physical struggles, the process complications that we both experienced, and the emotional challenges that we faced and conquered as we forged our way through a world of no guarantees to ultimately create the family that we had always dreamed of.

On this episode, I interviewed ordinarily extraordinary mom Amber Hitch. Amber shares with us her story about transitioning from a corporate career to being a stay-at-home mom, how she overcame her struggles postpartum with the baby blues and panic attacks, and how she found a renewed sense of self and purpose by creating a motivational accountability group for women. Amber is a sweet and supportive soul, with a big heart, who lives by the mantra as both a momma and a woman…that no matter what, you have to put one foot in front of the other and Just Keep Moving!
